These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of genxjarheadtravels.com (the “Site”) and the travel planning services offered by Gen X JarHead Travels (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site or contacting us to plan a trip, you agree to these Terms.

Our Role

Gen X JarHead Travels is an independent travel advisor and an affiliate of HiHo Vacations, our host travel agency. We help you research, plan, and book trips with third-party travel suppliers — airlines, cruise lines, resorts, tour operators, and similar companies. We do not own or operate any hotel, cruise line, airline, or resort. Once a trip is booked, your reservation is subject to the terms, conditions, and cancellation policies of the supplier you booked with, not just these Terms.

No Guarantee of Pricing or Availability

Prices, availability, and promotions quoted to you are set by travel suppliers and can change without notice until a reservation is confirmed and paid for. We'll do our best to get you accurate, current information, but we can't guarantee a price or room/cabin category is available until it's actually booked.

Payments & Cancellations

Deposits, final payments, and cancellation policies are set by the travel supplier for your specific trip and will be explained to you before you book. We are not responsible for cancellation fees, change fees, or refund denials imposed by a supplier, though we'll help you understand your options and, where possible, advocate on your behalf.

We recommend travel protection/insurance for every trip, and we can help you understand your options at the time of booking.

Website Use

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes. You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site, including the admin/content management area, or use the Site to transmit anything harmful or unlawful.

Intellectual Property

The text, design, and graphics on this Site belong to Gen X JarHead Travels unless otherwise noted, and may not be copied or reused without our permission. Trademarks and logos of third parties (Disney, cruise lines, resorts, HiHo Vacations, etc.) belong to their respective owners.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gen X JarHead Travels is not liable for losses, damages, delays, or inconvenience caused by third-party travel suppliers, weather, government action, or other circumstances outside our control. Our liability, where it applies, is limited to the value of the services we directly provided.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alaska, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
